Visits That Aren’t Rushed

Why our visits take longer

Most people have learned to expect about fifteen minutes with a doctor. You wait weeks for the appointment, and when it finally comes you get through maybe half of what you meant to say before it is over.

At Rosewood Medical in Corona, we schedule more time than that. Not as a perk — because the short version does not work.

What extra time actually buys

The thing you almost did not mention. That is where a surprising amount of medicine lives. The symptom you assumed was nothing. The medication you stopped taking and did not want to admit. The stress at home that is showing up in your blood pressure. None of that comes out in minute twelve of a fifteen-minute visit.

Time also means you get an explanation instead of an instruction. There is a difference between being told to take a pill and understanding what it does, why it matters, and what happens if you skip it. People follow a plan they understand. They abandon one they were only handed.

What this means for you

Come with your questions written down — we would rather you did. Bring your medication bottles. Tell us the thing you were not sure was worth mentioning.

You will not be hurried out. And you will leave knowing what is happening and what comes next, in English or in Spanish.
