Bilingual Care, Every Visit
Care in the language you think in
At Rosewood Medical in Corona, being bilingual is not a service we offer on request. It is how we practice, every visit, from the moment you walk in.
That matters more than it sounds. When you describe a symptom in a second language, you simplify. You reach for the word you know instead of the word you mean. You skip the detail that felt too hard to explain. And the person across from you makes a decision based on the version you managed to say, not the one you meant.
What this looks like in practice
You are greeted in Spanish or English at the front desk. Your history is taken in your language. Your exam, your diagnosis, your lab results and your instructions all happen in your language. Nothing is handed off to an interpreter, a phone line, or a family member who happened to come along.
No child should have to translate a diagnosis for a parent. That is not a small inconvenience — it changes what gets said in the room.
Why we built it this way
Nearly half of Corona is Hispanic or Latino, and roughly 45% of households here speak a language other than English at home. For a great many families, care in Spanish has meant a bilingual receptionist and an English-only doctor. We think that is backwards. The conversation that decides your treatment is the one that should never be lost in translation.
You deserve to explain yourself fully. And you deserve to be understood.
