Rosewood Medical holds same-day appointments for adult patients who need to be seen today. Call us in the morning at (951) 554-5778 and we will do everything we can to get you in.

A note on how this works: we are not a walk-in clinic. Same-day means you call and we find you a slot that day — not that you arrive without an appointment.

What we treat

Colds and flu. Sore throat. Sinus infections and congestion that will not clear. Cough. Fever. Urinary tract infections. Stomach bugs, nausea and diarrhea. Rashes and skin infections. Pink eye. Allergic reactions. Flare-ups of a condition you already manage with us. And the ones that are harder to name — the days you simply know something is wrong and want someone to look at you properly.

Why your own doctor beats a stranger

An urgent care center sees you once. They do not know what you are already taking, what you are allergic to, what you were treated for last winter, or that your cough has come back three times this year.

We do. Being sick is not the moment to explain your entire history to someone new — and it is the moment when knowing that history matters most. The same symptom means something different in someone managing diabetes than in someone who is otherwise well.

Whatever happens today goes in your chart. If it does not resolve, we already know the story.

What to expect

Call as early as you can — mornings give us the most room. Tell us your symptoms so we know how urgently to fit you in. Bring your medication list and insurance card.

You will be seen, examined, and given a plan you understand. If you need a prescription, it goes to your pharmacy before you leave. If you need something we do not do here — stitches, imaging, a procedure — we will tell you honestly and send you to the right place.

Telehealth

Some problems do not need you to come in. We offer telemedicine visits for issues that can be handled safely by video. Ask when you call and we will tell you which makes sense for what you have.

When to go to the emergency room instead

Do not call us — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke such as face drooping, arm weakness or slurred speech, severe bleeding, a head injury with confusion or loss of consciousness, a severe allergic reaction, or thoughts of harming yourself.

We would much rather you go to the ER and be told it was nothing.
